Yeah there is quite a difference between the two, I think you're better off downloading the trial version of MEP & see if the features are enough for you after coming from Vegas. it will def use it & the expense will be worthwhile, If you buy a new GPU get the best you can afford if you're going to swap to MEP.

MEP will play 4k vids with transitions fluidly without a bother, whereas Vegas struggles,īut MEP won't play all my plugins & there's features in Vegas that aren't in MEP.
